Beatty was everywhere, tallying a career-high 128 receiving yards on eight catches and even adding a 25-yard rushing score on a trick play. His 153 total yards highlighted his versatility and made him the go-to playmaker in key moments. Back-to-back 100-yard outings cement his emergence as a true weapon in this offense.

The Illini forced four turnovers, including fumble recoveries by Tyler Strain and Matthew Bailey, plus a late interception by Tanner Heckel. Gabe Jacas also added his third sack in two games, climbing to fifth on the program’s all-time sacks list.
